Adele Brown Jeffreys

Adele Brown Jeffreys, 97, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Adele's grandson Matt Jeffreys, pastor of Ridgeline Community Church and Randy Branson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Adele was born on March 3, 1912 in Young County, Texas to the late John A. and Dovie (Chastain) Brown. She married G.F. Jeffreys on February 3, 1940 in Graham. Adele was a lifetime resident of Young County and a member of the Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: husband, G.F. Jeffreys of Graham; daughter, Ruby Jeffreys of Graham; son Dale Jeffreys and wife Shirley of Graham; grandchildren, Phil Jeffreys and wife Cristy, Matt Jeffreys and wife Sharon, Brian Jeffreys and Diana Dueitt; great grandchildren, Travis Jeffreys, Chelsea Jeffreys, Jayci Jeffreys, Cade Jeffreys, and Karis Jeffreys; numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Solaris Hospice or Charity of your choice.
