Alan Wayne Chappell

Alan Wayne Chappell, 53, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Alan was born April 4, 1961 to Janice Eileen Rogers Chappell and the late Rev. Jackie Wayne Chappell in Olney, Texas. He attended Graham High School through the eleventh grade. Alan married Denisa Walker, February 23, 2002 in Graham. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include; wife, DenisaChapel of Graham, daughter, Kasey Michelle Chappell and husband Michael of Graham; sons, Alan Dwaine Chappell and wife Christy of Graham, Keith Alden Chappell and wife, Michelle of Plano, and Jonathan Clayton of Olney; mother, Janice Chappell of Graham; two brothers, Jeff Chappell and wife, Michelle and Kelly Chappell and wife, Trish of Graham; two step-sons, Mark Walker and Chad Walker and wife, Carolyn of Pleasanton; twelve grandchildren; and "Little Nanny" Susie Clawson; and his four-legged companion, "Baby".
Alan was preceded in death by his nephew, Jordan Lane Chappell and his daughter-in-law, Christina Walker.
Family visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
