Alma Ruth Reger

Alma Ruth Reger, 97, passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at her home in Eliasville.  Funeral will be Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Veal Creek Cemetery in Stephens County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ruth was born January 21, 1927 in Eliasville to the late Jewel Velma (Martin) Wesley and Henry James Wesley.  She married Elmer Reger February 6, 1946 in South Bend.  He preceded her in death November 30, 2002.  Ruth was a lifetime resident of Eliasville and a member of Eliasville Baptist Church.

Survivors include; daughter, Arla Phillips and husband Gary of Eliasville; son, Nolan Reger and Cassandra Reger of Jacksboro; grandchildren, Felicia Reger, Melissa and Beau Landers, Chad Phillips, Leann and Matt Carpenter, and Amanda and Chris Reid; 17 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. 

 Ruth was preceded in by her parents, sister, Mary Pearl Lemmons, brother, Preston Wesley, and grandson, Robert Eric Andis.
