Alva "Al" Lee Peyton, Jr.

Alva "Al" Lee Peyton, Jr., 82, passed away Sunday, February 28, 2016 in Graham.  A memorial service will be held Monday, March 7, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church.

Al was born November 23, 1933 in Wichita Falls to the late Alva Lee and Vivian Sarah (Jetton) Peyton, Sr.  He married Jacqueline Nichols April 30, 1976 in Clovis, New Mexico.  Al was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from General Dynamics as a manufacturing engineer.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Graham.

Survivors include: wife, Jackie Peyton of Graham; sons, Greg Peyton of Ft. Worth, Matthew Peyton and wife, Kim Peyton of Decatur, Steve Peyton and wife Lynda Peyton of Belleville, Illinois; step-daughter, Teresa Kabe and husband, Ken Hutt of Flagstaff, Arizona; nephews, Kirk Bridges of Wichita, Kansas and Ken Bridges of Houston; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister Joy Bridges and step-son Jeffrey McCracken.
