Alvin was born August 17, 1935 in Graham to the late Leonard and Veda Creswell. He spent a big part of his life preaching and building Church of God's across Texas and a few in Mexico. He was a missionary and travelled to Mexico and Guatemala to feed the poor and spread the word of God, the Pentecostal way. He worked in the oil business and then started drilling his own wells. He would pray over his wells. Many people laughed until he hit one of the biggest gushers in Graham. He attended Graham High School and was a tackle on the football team. Red hair and meaner than a dog, thus got his name "Red Dog". He was always helping people, praying for them, and spreading the news about his Jesus. He married Charlene Washburn in 1956. They gave birth to Darrell in 1958 and Stephanie Faye in 1962. They divorced in 1972. He married Raquel Juarez in 1977. They gave birth to Brandon Dane in 1979. They divorced, he married Maribel and gave birth to Bridgett Angel in 2000, still married we inherited step brothers, Juan and Elliot Munguia. When he got sick he moved to Graham Oaks Care Center. They took very good care of him. He loved it there, the food and people were good to Dad. Thank you to everyone that loved him and took care of him. He went to sleep peacefully.
He was preceded in death by sister, Vera, brothers, Robert and Troy, and nephews, Gene, Jr. and Mark.
