Anna Lou McKee, 74, took her place with the Lord along side her beloved Kenneth and Terri on Thursday, May 27, 2010 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 3:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Dennis Bell, pastor at Bethel Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Anna Lou was born on June 13, 1935 in Stephens County to the late Clarence Calvin and Lela May (Stringer) Dooley. She married Kenneth McKee on January 18, 1957 in Breckenridge. Anna Lou was owner and operator of McKee Oil. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Desk and Derrick, and Graham Regional Hospital Auxiliary. Anna Lou loved spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include: granddaughters, Holly Bailey and husband, Mark of Graham and Kendra Hobbs of Providence; great grandchildren, Tavia Shead, Kieon Shead, and Cross Bailey; sisters, Elsie Thomas of Graham and Maggie Lay of Breckenridge; brothers, Earl Dooley of Sequim, Washington, Bob Dooley of Graham, and Alex Dooley of Breckenridge. She was loved by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth McKee in 2004 and daughter, Terri McKee Brown in 2001.
