Barbara Mutt Smith

Barbara L. "Mutt" Smith, 96, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2013 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mutt was born April 26, 1917 in Olney, Texas to the late Clarence J. and Annie Lee (Ogletree) Daily. She married Burton O. Smith, December 21, 1935 in Wichita Falls. He preceded her in death on, November 27, 1999. She was a former resident of Loving and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a housewife and a member of Eastern Star.

Survivors include; daughters, Sharon Smith of Moore, OK. and Mary Veitenheimer and husband Urban of Windthorst; brother, Kenneth Daily and wife Lillie of Graham; sister, Bonnie Thetford of Austin; thirteen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mutt was preceded in death by a daughter, Lana Dixon, two grandchildren, two sisters and a brother.
