Benito Gonzalez

Benito Muños Gonzalez, 80, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Benito was born on May 9, 1932 in Nordheim, Texas to the late Gumecindo and Santos (Muños) Gonzalez. He married Rosa Alvarez September 16, 1951 in Tahoka, Texas. Benito was a resident of Graham for 40 years and he retired from Zack Burkett Company.

Survivors include: wife, Rosa Gonzalez of Graham; daughters, Lidia Kelley and husband, Rickie of Graham, Linda Chenault and husband, Jimmy of Graham, Janie Arellano and husband, Victor of Graham, Rosita Swift of Graham, Ruth Arellano, and husband, Johnny of Graham, and Lisa Gonzalez of Graham; son, Benny Gonzalez and wife, Michelle of Graham; sister, Nona Villarreal of O'Donnell; 17 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and grandson, Joseph Chenault.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
