Bernice "Granny" Lovell, 88, passed away Sunday, April 13, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cowboy Church Gatherin'. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Bernice was born June 20, 1925 in Kingston, Arkansas to the late J.D. and Tressie (Cline) Byers. She married Jeff Lovell March 8, 1960 in Durant, OK. He preceded her in death October 4, 2006. Bernice retired as a custodian for Graham Junior High School.
Survivors include: daughters, Theresa Riley and husband, Jimmy of Weatherford and Jody Davis and husband, Allen of Graham; sons, Stacy Lovell and wife, Lisa of Graham and Thomas Lovell of Graham; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Monty Hinson in 2001, brother, Gaylord Byers and sister, Hazel Fitzgerald.
