Bill Kimberlin, 78, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Graveside service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Post Oak Cemetery in Stephens County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Bill was born November 2, 1935 in Wichita Falls to the late William B. and Thelma (Jacks) Kimberlin. He married Judy Blackman December 22, 2000 in Byers. Bill was an oil and gas producer most of his life where he was owner and operator of Kimberlin Well Service from 1972 to 1998. He was a former mayor of Jacksboro, an Advisor to Governor Bill Clements, a former Texas State Judge, and a member of Crystal Falls Baptist Church. Bill loved to bass fish and managed his own softball team (Big Red Machine).
Survivors include: wife, Judy Kimberlin of Jean; daughters, Winona Norell and husband, Chuck of Conroe, Kelly Curtner of Conroe, and Darla Adams of Alva, Oklahoma; sons, Arthur Kimberlin and wife, Nicole of Breckenridge, Ricky Smith and wife, Carolyn of Jacksboro, Ronnie Kimberlin of Wichita Falls, David Blackman of Jean, Chad Blackman of Killeen; 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Family visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
