Billie V. Bridges

Billie V. Bridges, 92, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2009 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Swetnam of Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Billie was born on November 1, 1916 in Spencerville, Oklahoma to the late Robert and Minnie (Allen) McCoy. She married Robert A. Green in 1965 in Henrietta and he preceded her in death in 1972. She married Frank Bridges in 1979 in Graham and he preceded her in death on September 24, 1996. Billie retired from Texas Electric as head cashier and she was a member of the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: step-daughter, Mollie Hopkins of Brookshire; Step-grandchildren, Sharon Shepard, Kim Montag, Kit Hopkins, and Mike Hopkins; step-great grandchild, Chris Hopkins; cousin, Doris Jean Eddleman of Graham and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Solaris Hospice, 509 Elm Street, Graham, Texas 76450.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
