Billie Jean Hearne Childers

Billie Jean Hearne Childers, 62, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015 in Wichita Falls.  Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Jermyn under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Billie Jean was born March 12, 1953 in Graham to the late David Neal and Alpha (Eason) Tyra.  She married Delton Childers March 11, 1999 in Winters.  Billie Jean loved spending time with family and her grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband, Delton Childers of Megargel; daughters, Kimberly Gonzales and husband, John of Anson and Becky Hoffman and husband, Johnny of Graham; sons, Jason Hearne and wife, Rebecca of Graham, Gene Hearne of Loving, and Delton Ray Childers and wife, Jamie of Plainview; sisters, Lorane Smith and husband, Richard of Crowley and Toynua Jones and husband, Wayne of Rogers, Arkansas; brother, David Tyra and wife, Rebecca of Rogers, Arkansas; 21 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by grandson, Justin Lee Gonzales, son, Jasper Lynn Childers, brothers, David Neal Tyra and Neal L. Tyra, and sister, Deloros Dawn Tyra.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
