Billie Gene Young

Billie Gene Young, 94, passed away Tuesday January 19, 2021 in Seymour.  Funeral is scheduled 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2021 at First Baptist Church Seymour.  Family visitation will be Friday from 10:00 a.m. till Noon at the Church.  Arrangements are with Morrison Funeral Home.

Billie Gene was born November 22, 1926 in Wizard Wells, Texas to the late Eugenia (Johnson) Duncan and William Duncan.  She attended school in Seymour and graduated from North Texas University with a Bachelor Degree in Music.  Billie Gene married Pat Young February 8, 1948 in Seymour.  He preceded her in death September 17, 1981.  Billie Gene was a member of First Baptist Church Seymour where she was the pianist for many years.

Survivors include; daughter, Carlen Young of Lawton, OK.; grandson, Justin Baker and wife Cindy of Phoenix, AZ.; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Billie Gene was preceded in death by a daughter Nikita Dennis.
