Billy Eugene Gray

Billy Eugene Gray, 81, passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 in Graham. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. Family visitation will be at Morrison Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 18, at 6:30 p.m.

Billy was born April 28, 1937 in Bryson to the late Eli Lee Gray and Lela Mae (Radican) Gray. He married Ruby Etta Gilmore on June 28, 1958 in Graham. Billy graduated from Graham High School. Billy and Ruby owned and operated Gray’s Boot Shop for 48 years and managed commercial property owned by the family. Billy enjoyed daily visits with his customers and the tenants at the buildings. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting. Heattended Salem-Crestview United Methodist Church as an adult. He was a member of the First Baptist Church as a child where he was baptized.

Survivors include: daughters, Cathy Ribble and husband, Park of Guthrie, OK, Deborah Deck and husband, Russell of Graham, and Barbara Gray Richards of Watauga, Texas; grandchildren, Stacey Curran and husband, Alex of Yukon, OK; David Ribble of Yukon, OK, Lindsay Ribble of Guthrie, OK, Tyson Deck of Graham, Schuyler Sowell of Graham, Amber Doherty of Watauga, Miranda Sowell of Wichita Falls, Kaitlyn Parker and Garrett Parker, both of Graham; great grandchildren, Beckett Ribble, Bryce Ribble, Luke Curran, and Noah Doherty.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby, his daughter, Vicki Parker, brother Curtis Gray, and great granddaughter, Berkley Ribble.
