Billy B. Johnson

Billy B. Johnson, 78, died Monday, April 13, 2009 in Graham. A graveside funeral will be held Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery with Gary Tull officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Billy was born March 25, 1931 in Van Zandt County, Texas. Billy retired from the United States Navy in 1971 after serving 21 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War and Vietnam War where he received two bronze stars. Billy moved to Graham in 1971 from Long Beach, California. He married Rose Ann Nantz, February 19, 1972 in Graham. He worked in the oilfield and loved to fish.

Survivors include; wife, Rose Ann Johnson of Graham; two daughters, Susan Montuya of Los Alamitos, CA. and Jeanette Lowrey of Atlanta, GA.; son, Billy Johnson of Anaheim Hills, CA.; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Billy was preceded in death by a son, Christopher Johnson, his parents, and a brother, Troy Johnson.
