Billy "Bill" Mac Spencer

Billy Mac "Bill" Spencer, 78, of Graham died Monday, December 1, 2008 at his residence. Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 am Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Restland Cemetery in Olney with Dick Stovall pastor of Eliasville Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bill was born February 6, 1930 in Sweetwater, Texas to the late Albert Linn and Elsie Kathleen (McCord) Spencer. He married Patsy Ray Robertson on August 9, 1952 in Eunice, New Mexico. In his early years Bill worked in the motion picture industry in Abilene, Texas. The majority of his working career he spent in sales including managing Strombergs in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He retired as manager of the American Legion Building in Graham. He was a former member of the Texas Jaycees having served as State Vice President 1960-61, Graham Lions Club, Wichita Falls Founders Lions Club Director 1989-90, and the Kiwanis Club of Graham. Bill was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ and a Veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors: wife, Pat Spencer of Graham, daughter, Shonna Elizabeth Gage of Graham, son, Billy M. Spencer, II and wife Kimberly of Enid, OK., grandchildren, Vanessa Henry and husband Jason, Derrick Gage, Blaine Spencer, and Jared Spencer, great grandchildren, Paizlee and Lando Henry, aunt, Bettye Jo McAbee of San Antonio. A sister, Shirlene Fredenberg preceded him in death.
