Billy Yager

Billy Yager, 80, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Wichita Falls. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Abbey Chapel in Restland Memorial Park in Dallas. Burial will follow in Restland Memorial Park under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Billy was born August 7, 1934 in Dallas to the late John Rogers and Alva (Timms) Yager. Billy served in the National Guard for several years. He married Anita Loggins August 6, 1955 in Dallas and she preceded him in death March 31, 2006. He retired from Texas Instruments as a tool and die maker. He later worked at the Super Conducting Super Collider at Waxahachie. He moved from Dallas to Graham in 2000. He was a member of the Graham Rifle and Pistol Club.

Survivors include: son, Russell Yager of Dallas; companion, Jo Jernigan of Graham; brothers, Robert L. and Leslie R. Yager both of Mineola; grandchildren, P.T. Yager, Kate Yager, Courtney Yager, and Heather Yager.

He was preceded in death by son, Michael Yager.

Family visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
