Bobby Herndon

Bobby Herndon, 79, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014 in Fort Worth. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Bobby was born December 29, 1934 in Graham to the late S.E. and Pauline (Neill) Herndon. He married Betty Beach July 8, 1955 in Graham. Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Hexcel in Graham. He was a member of the Young County Masonic Lodge #485 and the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Betty Herndon of Graham; son, David Herndon and wife, Angela of Weatherford; sisters, Margie Mahaney of Mineral Wells and Mary Jo McGehee and husband, Roy of Stonewall, Oklahoma; brothers, Clifford Herndon and wife, Vicky of Houston and Curtis Herndon and wife, Carla of Graham; grandchildren, Tyler Herndon and wife, Madelynn of Springtown, Wesley Herndon of Weatherford, and Tori Herndon of Weatherford.

He was preceded in death by sisters, Patsy Stewart and Barbara Kay Herndon.

Family visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
