Bobby John Sims, Sr.

Bobby John Sims, Sr., 82, of Granbury, passed away Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in Fort Worth.  Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00am Saturday, May 30, 2015 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow at Cottonwood Cemetery in Jack County, Texas under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, Graham, Texas.

Bobby was born January 3, 1933 in Graham to the late Ted and Ruth (Caldwell) Sims.  He married Billie Jo Richards in 1991 in Fort Worth.  Bobby was a veteran of the United States Army and attended TCU.  He was an electrical contractor having closed his business in Graham in 1966. He moved to Granbury and was employed at the Comanche Peak power plant in Glen Rose for 11 years.  Bobby was a member of the Granbury Masonic Lodge, a Shriner, a Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Methodist Church.  

Survivors include: wife Billie Jo Richards of Granbury; daughter, Stephanie Jones of Granbury; son, Bobby John Sims, Jr. of Austin, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a son David Sims.
