Bonnie Kline

Bonnie Louise Kline, 78, died peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 30 at her home on Possum Kingdom Lake near Graford, Texas. Bonnie will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Tim, in a graveside service on Friday, September 3, 2021 at 11:15 am in Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.

Bonnie was born on March 12, 1942 in Perryton, Texas to Willard Witt and Jessie Bennett Witt. She graduated from Perryton High School and attended Colorado Women's College and West Texas State. In Colorado, she met USAF Cadet Timothy Kline of the Air Force Academy. They married on June 7, 1964 in what would become a globe-trotting, lifelong romance. They raised three children, Michael, David, and Kelly in an environment of faith and love, filled with gourmet meals, lively conversation, profound friendships, and literary appreciation.

Bonnie was a timeless beauty, with impeccable style; a living poem. A West Texas force of nature, she raised her children and cooked meals with artisan flair. She hosted dinner parties, presided over prayer groups, lifted up the distressed, managed the finances, and fed the throngs drawn to a house brimming with love both physically and spiritually; excellence invariably achieved in every task. Her grace and elegance were pure splendor. Her humility and warmth, divine. Her cheery disposition and joyful strength never wavered. Even as her faculties waned, she would smile knowingly, and offer her supportive reassurance. To say she will be dearly missed would be the ultimate understatement as she was the loom upon whose steady frame a family's glorious tapestry was enabled; Christ forever her weaver.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, The Very Reverend Timothy Kline of Possum Kingdom Lake; sons, Reverend Michael Kline (Valerie) of Albuquerque, NM, David Kline (Courtney) of Lake Worth, FL; and daughter Kelly Miller (Chris) of Weatherford, TX; grandchildren, Jessica (Shaun), Dean, Ben, Riley, Katie, and Eleonora; great grandchildren, Mason and Olivia; sister, Becky Fairbank (Chip); cousin, Don Neufeld (Kaye); sisters-in-law, Tina Diehl (Steve), Melinda Lauren, and Chris Newton (John).

She is preceded in death by her mother Jessie Witt and father Willard Witt, and sister Kay Witt.

Memorials can be made in Bonnie's name to the Ranger Academic Foundation, P.O. Box 179 Perryton, TX 79070.
