Brandon Douglas Bailey

Brandon Douglas Bailey, 19, was called home by his Lord and Savior on July 5, 2012 in Newcastle. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Newcastle High School Auditorium. Burial will follow in Proffitt Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Brandon was born July 27, 1992 in Wichita Falls to Bruce and Gayle Bailey. He lived the majority of his life in Newcastle and graduated Salutatorian at Newcastle High School in 2011 where he also excelled in football, basketball, and track. He was attending Tarleton State University, employed at Seed-Tex Grain Elevator in Newcastle, and he was a member of First Baptist Church in Newcastle. Brandon dearly loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, his family and his friends. He touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with, and loved putting a smile on everyone's face.

Survivors include: parents, Bruce and Gayle Bailey of Newcastle; sister, Courtney Bailey of Newcastle; grandparents, Doug and Ruby Quinn of Newcastle; uncles and aunts, Ben and Karen Taylor, Jerry and Tammy Doss, Randy Doss, Bill and Brenda Wooten, and Ace and Kimberly Bailey; numerous cousins, great aunts and uncles, and friends too many to count.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
