Brenda Mason

Brenda C. Mason, 80, passed away Wednesday March 26, 2025. Graveside funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday March 30, 2025 at Baldwin Family Cemetery in Young County.

Brenda was born March 22, 1945 in Levelland to the late Jimmy Dale (Miller) Hensley and Howard Hampton Hensley. She graduated from UTMB Galveston with a degree as a Medical P.A. Brenda served in the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant. She worked several years at Scott and White Medical Center in Kileen as a Physician’s Assistant and retired and moved to Graham in 2012 to be near her family.

Survivors include; sons, Richard Todd Ligon and wife Tracey of Eliasville and their children, Cheyenne Shawn Renae Ligon and Richard Todd Ligon, Michael Dion Ligon and wife Dena of Graham; and their daughters, Brittany K. Smyers and husband Jacob of Holliday and their children, Maddison Brook Smyers, Jace Maverick Smyers, Railynn Renae Hoff, Justin Marshall Smyers, Leighton Kyle Hoff, and Masyn Jo Smyers, Hope Michal Howard and husband Clayton Ardell of Windthorst, Victoria Denae Blaine and husband Trenton of Olney and daughter, Rachel Ann Ligon; sister Sheila Kay Marchbanks of Austin and daughter Ryan Marchbanks; daughter-in-law, Cherisa Chappell.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, brother James Howard Hensley, grandson Matthew Daivd Ligon.

Family Visitation will be Saturday March 29, 2025 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
