Candice Renae Martin

Candice Renae Martin, 18, passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2014 in Young County. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Graham High School Gymnasium. Burial will follow in Eliasville Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Candice was born March 14, 1996 in Graham to Rodney and Robin (Alexander) Martin. She was a Senior at Graham High School and was a member of First Baptist Church. Candice was involved in Graham High School Sports including Varsity Volleyball, Varsity Basketball, Varsity Softball, and Varsity Track. She enjoyed art, photography and had a special love for animals.

Survivors include: parents, Rodney and Robin Martin of Eliasville; sisters, Crystal Martin of San Marcos and Kayla Coop and husband, Casey of Fischer; grandparents, Mac and June Martin of Eliasville; great grandparents, Ernest and Gladys Geis of Graham; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Donald and Betty Alexander and Rayford and Ellen Ruth Pardue.

Family visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
