Carl Carson

Carl "Dodie" Carson, 82, of Graham passed away at his home Friday, January 21, 2011. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 24, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Graham Church of God with Pastor Don Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Carl was born May 18, 1928 in Glenwood, Arkansas to the late William Austin and Susie Missouri (Hubbard) Carson. Carl retired as a heavy equipment operator with Union of Operating Engineers. He married Imagene Sweeny Bristow, March 4, 1994 in Graham. Carl was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include; wife, Imagene Carson of Graham; daughter, Debbie Akers and husband David of Graham; son, Doyle Carson and wife Victoria of Graham; stepson, Steve Bristow and wife Rosi of Graham; grandchildren, Kelli Huckobey, Danny Huckobey, Scott Elliott, Greg Carson, Sarah Carson, Lance Carson, Michele Saldivar, Jennifer Kultajev, Patricia Morse, Jeb Bristow and Stacy Bristow, eleven great grandchildren ; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Carl was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

The family will receive friends at Morrison Funeral Home Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
