Carman "Lee" Turnbow

Carman "Lee" Turnbow passed away peacefully at home in Winter Garden, Florida, June 1, 2016, just 3 days shy of his 87th birthday. A celebration of life will be Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel, Graham, Texas.

Lee was born June 4, 1929 to James Edward and Bessie B. Turnbow in Jack County, Texas. Lee grew up and attended school in Truce, Texas. He married the love of his life, Jessie L. Todd, March 23, 1947. Lee spent most of his working years as a cable splicer. He taught his trade to many young men through the years. Lee was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Franklin, Virginia. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Lee was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Survivors include; wife, Jessie Turnbow of Winter Garden, FL.; son, Greg Turnbow and wife Janna of Longview, TX.; daughter, Candy Carpenter and husband Dalton of Winter Garden, FL.grandsons, Chase Dimick and Zachary Turnbow and wife Candice; granddaughter, Amanda Correa and husband Jerry; five great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
