Carrol D. Crum

Carrol D. Crum, 76, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Carrol was born on July 17, 1935 in Jermyn to the late Ira Leonard and Hazel Irene (Smith) Crum. He married Jo Ann Cook on August 3, 1957 in Graham. Carrol was a social worker for the Texas Department of Human Services in Wichita Falls, San Angelo, and Lubbock. He was a veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Young County Lodge #485, VFW, and the First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Jo Ann Crum of Graham; daughters, Carole Ann Kidd and husband, Trent of Lubbock and Teresa Gail Taylor and husband, Joey of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Jason Roberts of San Marcos, Landon Roberts of Lubbock, Abby Taylor of Fort Worth and Zoey Taylor of Fort Worth.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Ira L. Crum, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
