Cathy Suzan Mowrey

Cathy Suzan Mowrey, 60, passed away Saturday, September 15, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Cathy was born on March 1, 1952 in Wichita Falls to Nathan and Dorothy (Kent) Abbott. She married Troy A. Mowrey, Jr. June 1, 1974 in Graham. He preceded her in death April 26, 2006. Cathy graduated from Graham High School and worked as a Secretary for Hale Oil and Gas. She was a member of the Graham Garden Club and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Neeley Reed of Dallas and Tracey Mowrey of Graham; father, Nathan Abbott and wife, Jewel of Graham; sister, Martha Abbott Barron and husband, Dick of Fort Worth; sister-in-laws, Sissy Garvey and Mary Davis both of Graham; nieces, Shelley Melton and Stephanie Davis; nephews, Mike Barron and Matt Garvey; great nieces, Ashlee Melton and Tenley Garvey.

She was preceded in death by mother, Dottie Abbott, mother-in-law, Dorothy Mowrey, and nephew, Will Davis.

The family will greet friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
