Cecil Charles Brown

Cecil Charles Brown, 67, passed away on June 2, 2010 in Graham. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Cecil was born February 9, 1943 in McAllen, Texas to the late Nellie Pearl Turner and Benson Belle Brown, Jr. The family moved to Graham in 1946. Cecil served two tours in the United States Army. He spent many years managing automotive departments for K-mart and Target stores. However, he considered himself as a retired maintenance man. His greatest joy was in helping others. He was a proud father and grandfather. He is loved and missed by all.

Cecil is survived by sons Rob Brown and Drew Brown of Kennedale, daughter Hollye Brown and husband, Tommy of Granbury, five grandchildren: Kylie Donald, Charlie and Jesse Houk, Jared Brown and Jordan Brown, sisters Marie O'Dell and husband, Jim of Graham and Poky Miller and husband, Larry of Bedford, brother John Paul Brown and wife, Dee of Lubbock; numerous nieces and nephews. The family extends a special thank you to Dolly Gosnell for her love and care.
