Cecil H. Williams, 90, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Cecil was born November 1, 1923 in Canadian, Texas to the late Cecil Evans and Verse Ballard Williams. He married Hallie Pugh, April 5, 1944 in Amarillo. She preceded him in death on July 12, 2002. Cecil was a Veteran serving in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He piloted a B-17 bomber in more than 35 missions. He was a retired chemical engineer for the water departments of Dallas and Fort Worth. He moved to Graham in 1989 and was a member of Texas Society of Professional Engineers, Graham Country Club, and a member of the Loving Highway Church of Christ.
Survivors include; sister-in-law Edwina Bagwell and husband J.A. of Colorado; Mark and Susan Lisle of Graham and several nieces and nephews.
Cecil was preceded in death by brothers, Dolan, Herbert, and Leroy Williams, also by sisters Etauta and Beverly.
