Charles R. "Rip" Rippin, 80, died Monday, February 1, 2010 in Wichita Falls. Funeral is scheduled Wednesday, February 3, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in the Graham Bible Church with Pastor Garrett Kell and Reverend Stephen Swint officiating. Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m.in Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Charles was born February 12, 1929 in Belle Rose, Louisana to the late Robert and Cleia Bergeron Rippin. He was a former resident of Fort Worth for the past forty years where he retired from Sealy Mattress Company and Industrial Air Hydraulics. Charles married Monica Hancock, March 5, 1965 in Bowie, Texas. He moved to Graham in 2003 from Fort Worth.
Survivors include; wife, Monica Rippin of Graham; daughter, Jill Paschal and husband J.W. of Graham; sons, Mike Morrison of Graham; Larry Rippin and Dickie Rippin of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Nathan, Meagan, C.J. , and Stephen Paschal, Savannah Morrison, and Christie Rippin.
Charles was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Rippin and George Rippin and a sister, Edith Roscow.
The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
