Charles F. Walker

Charles F. Walker, 77, passed away Saturday, March 31, 2012 in Wichita Falls. A Graveside funeral will be held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Charles was born March 23, 1935 in Graham to the late James Fred and Rosa Lena (McGhee) Walker. He married Mildred Faye Poole, April 7, 1955 in Houston. She preceded him in death on February 8, 1990. Charles was a former resident of Houston moving to Graham in 1976. He was a retired piano tuner, ham radio operator, and a member of Hillside Church of Christ.

Survivors include; two daughters, Dana Price of Graham, Linda Burton and husband Michael of Pleasant Shade, TN.; two sons, Terry Lee Walker of Houston and Dwaine Walker and wife Patsy of Jean; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Marie Hannah of Fort Belknap and Mildred Shepard of Graham; several nieces and nephews; also surviving are Charles's loving Church family and numerous friends and neighbors.

Charles was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Brooks and a brother James Harold Walker.

The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to greet friends.
