Charlie Wayne Rose

Charlie Wayne Rose, 68, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Graham.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Perrin Memorial Gardens under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Charlie was born January 1, 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico to J.T. and Mary Lee (Landfair) Rose.  He married Loreta Rose February 6, 1980 in Mineral Wells and she preceded him in death June 20, 2011.  He married Deva Gravlee December 31, 2012 in Graham.  Charlie was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam.  He was a general contractor and recently helped build Graham VFW Post 8567.

Survivors include: wife, Deva Rose of Graham; mother, Mary Rose of Midland; step-daughters, Cali Smith and husband, Dusty of Flora Vista, New Mexico and Cami Rike and husband, Adam of Wylie; step sons, Jimmy Houser and wife, Rita of Bryson, Randy Houser and girlfriend, Diane of Strawn, Timmy Houser of Wichita Falls; sister, Madaline Cole and husband, Lanny of Midland; brothers, Bennie Rose and wife Fran of Midland, Jimmy Rose and wife, Bobbye of Blanket, Larry Rose of Midland, and Lester Rose and Carol of Midland; 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.T. Rose.
