Anne Carr, 77, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 in Fort Worth. A Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
Anne was born February 4, 1947 in Graham to the late Edna Mae (Needham) Wiley and Russell Frelon Wiley. She was a lifetime resident of Young County. She was a beautician for many years before changing careers and retiring as a bank teller at Ciera Bank in Graham. She truly cherished her customers.
Anne was a loving mother, gran, aunt, and friend. If you knew her, you loved her. She rarely turned down a good cup of coffee and conversation. She was our own real Maxine. She was an avid book reader making many trips to the library while having full shelves of her own at home; the Bible being her favorite book of all.
She was ready to go to her heavenly home, passing peacefully as her Bible at home was open to the verse Mark 5:34 “And He said, ‘Daughter your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction’.”
Survivors include sons, John Carr and wife Tana of Graham, Ryan Copper and wife Melissa of Burleson, Heath Copper of Missouri; daughter, Cristina Carr of Missouri.; sister-in-law, Sandra Wiley of Graham; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Anne was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Beth Holman and Lucille Cullers, and her brother Jim Wiley.
