Mother was born on November 17th, 1938 to Roy Mason Carter and Susan Viola Morris Carter in Peniel, Texas. Mother was a woman of faith and attended church all of her life. She most recently attended First Baptist Church in Graham, Texas and prior to that attended AldersgateChurch in Greenville, Texas (now Christ Community Church) and Wesley United Methodist Church in Greenville, Texas.
Mother battled and overcame Hodgkin-Lymphoma several decades ago. It was her prayer that she would survive long enough to see her children grown and was blessed by God to see not only her grandchildren born, but her great-grandchildren come into this world.
Our hearts ache at her passing, but we rejoice that she has been reunited with her God and the loved ones that preceded her into eternity. She has indeed entered into her reward, promised by the One who is Faithful and True.
