Clinton Reeves, 89, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2015 in Olney. Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Reeves Cemetery in Young County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Clinton was born May 11, 1926 in Young County to the late Edward and Effie Mae (Fitzgerald) Reeves. He married Juanita Clinton June 23, 1957 in Weatherford. Clinton was a veteran of the United States Navy serving in the Pacific during World War II. He was a Farmer and Rancher and a member of Young County Masonic Lodge #485, Past Master, Past District Deputy of 106th District, member of Maskat Shrine, member of Lubbock Scottish Rite, 33 degree Scottish Rite Mason, Past Master of Newcastle Lodge #1057 and Past Secretary.
Survivors include: wife, Juanita Reeves of Graham; daughter, Cathie Harrison and husband, James of Graham; grandchildren, Eddie McWhorter of Graham, Crystal Clayton and husband, Bo of Graham, and Chance Harrison of Graham; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Celesta Faith Reeves McWhorter, granddaughter, Shaleen DeeAnn McWhorter, brother, Sam Ed Reeves, and sisters, Edna Mae Davenport, Paula Taylor, and Vera McPherson.
Family visitation will be held Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Lubbock Scottish Rite.
