Clyde Eugene Boydston, 78, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 in Wichita Falls at the House of Hope, his home for the past three years, after a long illness with Alzheimer's. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Remington Street Church of God with Larry Pratt of Eliasville officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Clyde was born February 26, 1933 in Knox City to late Clyde Wesley and Ruby Ann (Hendrix) Boydston. He was veteran of the United States Navy and Air Force. He was a member of the Church of Christ and a lifetime resident of Young County. He was a former board member of Fort Belknap Electric Cooperative and Young County Farm Bureau. Clyde was a farmer, rancher, and a mechanic. His hobby was restoring antique cars.
Survivors include; daughters, Cathy Bohn and husband J.R. of Graham, Terri Collins and husband Jody of Graham, and Tonya Parrish and husband Ricky of Dallas; son, Steve Boydston and wife Ann; brother, Don Boydston and wife Brenda of Olney; eleven grandchildren and six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Clyde was preceded in death by daughter, Sherry Ford, infant twin sister, Christine Boydston, Joyce Suits Boydston and Sue Boydston.
