Clyde Moody, 81, of Bryson, died Saturday, January 9, 2010 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Jason Hilliard of First Baptist Church in Bryson and J.L. Williams of McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Clyde was born on September 8, 1928 in Memphis to the late O.C. and Lorena (Reed) Moody. He married Hazel Lorene Williams on December 29, 1956 in Seymour. Clyde was a veteran of the United States Air Force and he was a retired Truck Driver and Dispatcher for Merico Inc. He was a longtime sponsor of L.D. Bell Rodeo Club in Bedford. Clyde had been a resident of Jack County for 20 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Bryson.
Survivors include: wife, Hazel Moody of Bryson; daughter, Beverly Dunnam and husband, Gary of Graham; sons, Wayne Moody and wife, Kim of Keller and Steve Moody and Elaine Stewart of Senate; sister, Dorothy Moser and husband, James of Depew, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Cassie Starnes and husband, Trent, Wesley Moody, Carter Dunnam, Joshua Moody, Rowdy Dunnam, Kayla Dunnam, Megan Moody, Kaycee Dunnam, Colton Dunnam, and Ty Dunnam; great grandchild, Lane Starnes.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
