Cynthia Grace Morrison, 58, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 14, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. A funeral service celebrating Cynthia’s life will be held Saturday, April 23rd, at 1pm at the First Presbyterian Church in Graham. Burial will follow at Medlan Chapel Cemetery. There will be visitation service Friday, April 22nd, 4-6pm at Morrison Funeral Home in Graham, TX.

Cynthia was born April 9, 1958 to the late Carl Norman Evans and Juanita Hipp Evans. She was the granddaughter of Charles "Charlie" and Grace Hipp and the granddaughter of Carl and Wilda Mae Evans. Cynthia earned a degree in finance from Texas Tech University before getting married and having 4 wonderful children. She later received her teacher certification from Tarleton State University and moved to "The City" where she would become an accomplished business owner as a Real Estate Broker at Century 21 Morrison & Morris. She joined and later became president of The Rotary Club of Mansfield as well as being involved in many educational boards over the years. After a successful real estate career, Cynthia joined the Oil & Gas industry as a full time landman, a passion she had harbored for years. She later moved back to Graham where she could work and spend time with her family. Cynthia enjoyed researching and pursuing information regarding her family's genealogy. One of Cynthia's favorite projects was The Texas Land Heritage Program.

She is survived by her three children, Annie May Hiers and her husband Ross, John Robert Morrison and his wife Jessica, and Mary Maria Fields and her husband Keith. She is also survived by her 2 sisters, Karen Robertson and Anita Evans, her brother Brandon Evans, her Step-Mother, Janice Evans, and six beautiful grandchildren Christine Fields, Cameron Hiers, Madison Hiers, Ashley Hiers, Daniel Hiers and Annelise Morrison and many other family members.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her daughter Sarah Grace Morrison, her mother Jaunita Hipp, her father Carl Norman Evans and her Aunt Charlene "Pud" Hipp.
