Cynthia Ann Starkey

Cynthia Ann McGavock Starkey, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2013 in Graham. Graveside service will be held Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Newcastle Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Cynthia was born April 9, 1953 in Lockney to Nora (Vaughn) McGavock and the late Frerich McGavock. She married Harold "Sonny" Starkey June 18, 1971 in Happy and he preceded her in death February 5, 2012. Cynthia graduated from Happy High School and retired from GMI in Graham.

Survivors include: sons, Jay Starkey and wife, Sheila of Graham and Dennis Starkey of Graham; mother, Nora McGavock of Happy; sister, Peggy Carter and husband, Kim of Tulia; brother, Dave McGavock of Happy; grandchildren, Lacie, Mallory, Dakota, Casey, and Lexi.
