Daniel Lee

Daniel Emmett Lee, 75, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 13, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Daniel was born July 28, 1938 in Ingram, Texas to the late Earl Emmett and Zadie Mae (Smith) Lee. He married Fannie Mae Goodman May 25, 1957. She preceded him in death September 19, 2007. Daniel was a truck driver and cut cedar trees for post.

Survivors include: daughters, LaVerne Fair of Dangerfield, Sandra Stayton of Graham, and Brenda Allen of Altus, Oklahoma; son, James Lee of Graham; brothers, Floyd Lee of Benson, AZ, Wayne Lee of Ingram, Monroe Lee of Ingram, Houston Lee of Houston, and Johnny Lee of Lampasas; sisters, Pearl Higgins of Bryson, Christine Lee of Center Point, Earlaine Wilson of Center Point, and Evelyn Crider of Arkansas; grandchildren, Michell Jones, Amber Patterson, Bobby Cowan, Kassidy Patterson, Vanessa Stout, Rebecca Stayton, Kari Rios, Amanda Gonzales, Tresa Johnson, Brittany Allen, Danielle Patrick, Tiffany Clark, and Brandie Allen; 22 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, David Lee and a grandson, Luke Johnson.

Family visitation will be held Wednesday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
