Darrell McGee

Darrell McGee, 74, passed away as a result of a pedestrian/motor vehicle accident on Friday, January 27, 2012 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Red Top Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Darrell was born on November 11, 1937 in Farmer to the late Orus and Lena (Petty) McGee. He married Sharon Horton on June 20, 1986 in Fort Worth. Darrell was Chief Probation Officer for Young and Stephens Counties for several years and a farmer and rancher. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Sharon McGee of Loving; sister, Mary Evelyn McCanlis of Littlefield; brothers, Glynn McGee of Henderson and Gary McGee of Olney; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brother, Kenneth McGee and sister, Elwanda Nall.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
