Delbert Roland "Deb" Palmer, 78, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cowboy Church Gatherin'. Burial will follow in Veal Creek in Stephens County under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Deb was born on April 25, 1934 in Markley to the late Tobe P. and Ida Belle (Gleghorn) Palmer. He married Phyllis JoEtna "Jo" Caudill September 21, 1954 in Silver City, New Mexico. She preceded him in death August 12, 2010. Deb was self employed in the oilfield, a farmer and rancher, and a member of the Cowboy Church Gatherin'.
Survivors include: brothers, Bob Palmer and wife, Debbie of Lubbock and Monk Palmer and wife, LaVena of Post; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by sister, Irene Lovern and brothers, Odis, Roy, D.T., and Johnny Palmer.
Memorials may be made to Solaris Hospice or a charity of choice.
