Debra Kay King

Debra Kay King, age 56, passed away at her home in Graham on Saturday, August 24, 2024. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Loving Community Center.

Debra was born on December 12, 1967 in Dallas, TX to Johnny and Carol (Carnley) King.

Debra was an extremely dedicated daughter, mother, and grandmother. The love for her family was deeply rooted within her. She adored all her nieces and nephews never turning down a chance to love on all the babies. Debra was very devoted to the people she cared about in her life and made friends everywhere she went. She had a very deep love and sense of duty to animals having spent years of her life in service to animals in need. She also loved antiques, plants, feeding and watching the birds, as well as all things spooky. An extremely resilient woman who pushed through and overcame many hardships in her life with undeniable grace. She will be terribly missed as a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, auntie, and a friend to all she touched in the community she made her home. 

Debra is survived by her daughter, Karlee King of Graham; grandchildren, Tristen and Elaina Nantz; mother, Carol King of Graham; siblings, Sharlett King of Waxahachie, and Troy King of Newcastle; uncles, Rick King, and Billy Carnley; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her son, Lane Brock, and dad, Johnny King.
