Donna Mae Gann was a loving daughter and friend. She graced the world for 52 years with her beautiful smile and abundant care-giving heart. She joined her savior in Heaven on October 4, 2021. Donna was born in Graham, Texas and was raised in South Houston where she attended J Frank Dobie High School. She lived a full life in Houston and Graham running a bridal shop, working in oil and gas technology services, real estate and she finished her career at the United States Post Office. She loved her pets dearly, her friends and family deeply, taking care of her house and home, and the latest technology. Donna left behind the most loyal companion, Katie, the happy black lab who woke her up in the morning and laid beside her at night. The Astros have lost a loyal fan and the salt water fish can relax a bit because she is not wielding a line. There will be a one fewer soul wearing purple around town. The mail might run a little slower now and your mobile device will surely get fewer updates. Her siblings Leanna, Andy, and Les will be missing a sister. Her nephews, Jesse and James will miss her greatly. Her best friend Jane will be lost without her. Her mother Naoma will have a broken heart until they are reunited in Heaven. We all rejoice knowing Donna is at peace. Wherever a beautiful soul has been, there is a trail of beautiful memories. Fly high, beautiful butterfly.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 1:00 PM in Medlan Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
