Donnie Ray Waldrep

Donnie Ray Waldrep, age 75, passed away in Weatherford on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. A funeral service will be held at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, August 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

 Donnie was born on April 25, 1947 to the late Claude Leland "Lucky" Waldrep and Verna Belle Scoggins. He married Betty Jo Renbarger on October 20, 1964 in Mexico. Donnie was one to always take  pictures anytime there was a family get together. That was his thing and everyone knew it. He enjoyed family get togethers and especially the fish fries.  His favorite thing to do was ride his motorcycle and listen to country music. Even after he got sick, he wasn’t willing to give up riding. He was loved by many and left a lot of memories for his loved ones to remember him by.

 Donnie is survived by his children, Tony Waldrep and wife Rita of Bridgeport, Glenda Hiser of Graham, and Brenda Elkins and husband Steve of Graham; grandchildren, Jacklyn Hoover and husband Matt, Ethan Hiser and wife Stacey, Joshua Elkins and wife Bri, Stephanie Fade and husband Tyler, Tanner Waldrep, Blake Waldrep and wife Irene, and Dillon Waldrep and wife Itzel; along with 12 great grandchildren.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Betty Jo Waldrep, and a son-in-law, Clarence Hiser.

 Visitation will be held at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, August 7, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
