Doris J. Eddleman

Doris J. Eddleman, 69, passed away Monday, January 17, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Richard Reed and David Mosser officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Doris was born February 20, 1941 in New Boston, Texas to the late Alvin Jasper and Mattie Dell (Hanes) Shelton. She married Ronald W. Eddleman, August 24, 1963 in Hooks, Texas. Doris graduated from East Texas State in Education and received her masters from Texas Women's University in Special Education. Doris was a teacher for thirty years and retired from Graham ISD. She was the owner of Eddleman Real Estate in Graham. Doris was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma, Texas State Teachers Association, Graham Chamber of Commerce Red Coats, Hospital Auxiliary, Habitat for Humanity, Graham Regional Theater, KJRA Board of Directors, Graham Concert Association, and First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include; husband of 47 years, Ronald Eddleman of Graham; two sons, Jim Bob Eddleman and wife Lori of Graham, Don Ed Eddleman and wife Pamala of Santa Anna; sister, Alvarie Aultman and husband, Joe of Hooks, Texas; brother-in-law, Archie Eddleman of Padgett; mother-in-law, Madeline Eddleman of Graham; grandchildren, Will Eddleman, Brady Kendrick, and Carly Sobczak; nephews, Ron Aultman, Tim Aultman, Mark Eddleman, and Coy Eddleman; several great nephews and nieces.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
