Dorthia Ragland Hartless, 82, passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Eastside Church of Christ with Dorman Holub officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Dorthia was born on November 28, 1928 in Young County to the late Samuel Robert and Easter Ammie (Timmons) Ragland. She married Dale C. Hartless on February 20, 1947 in Graham. He preceded her in death on September 23, 2007. Dorthia graduated from GHS in 1945, served as SBC Telephone Operator from 1946-1952, secretary at Eastside Church of Christ from 1971-1980, and PBX Operator at Graham National Bank from 1980-2000. She was an American Red Cross Blood Program Volunteer for 30 years and donated 148 units of O-Neg blood through American Red Cross.
Survivors include: daughter, Elaine Hartless of Lihue, Hawaii; son, Daniel Hartless of Sherman; daughter, Karen Hartless Kelley of Georgetown; son, Ken Hartless of Colleyville; sister, Ima Lee Hawkins and husband Alva Lee of Graham; brother, Don Ragland of Breckenridge; grandchildren, Kevin, Corey and Erik Hartless, Amanda Deck, and Kara and Kendra Kelley; great grandchildren, Madison Washburn, Alexa and Elizabeth Kelley, and Keely Hartless; sister-in-law, Alene Ragland of Graham; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends also survive.
Dorthia was preceded in death by two brothers, Bob and Edgar Ragland.

The Family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. to greet friends.
