Earl Mahaney, 84, passed away Monday, November 14, 2011 in Fort Worth. A Graveside funeral will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. in Gooseneck Cemetery with Gary Tull of Graham officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Earl was born February 18, 1927 in Graham to the late Wesley and Louise (Parsons) Mahaney.
He was a veteran of World War II serving in the Marines. He married Dorothy Bryson, August 6, 1982 in Denver City. She preceded him in death May 22, 2009. Earl was a retired production foreman for Sun Oil. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, a Shriner, Scottish Rite, Elks Lodge, American Legion, and Life Member of the VFW. Earl moved to Graham in 1984 from Bowie and was a member of the First Baptist Church.
Survivors include; daughter, Drinda Mahaney of Fort Worth; son, Rick Mahaney of Graham; two grandchildren, Mike Jackson and Melanie Morgan and husband Brandon; two great grandchildren, Kayden and Kelby Morgan.
Earl was preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
The Family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
