Edmund Zelmer

Edmund Zelmer, 82, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 in Wichita Falls.  A family visitation will be held Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.

Edmund was born September 10, 1933 in McPherson County, South Dakota to the late Edward and Anna Marie (Guthmiller) Zelmer.  He married Patricia Berry February 28, 1991 in Leola, South Dakota.  Edmund was a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a farmer and rancher and a member of Salem Emmanuel Lutheran Church of Long Lake, South Dakota, Long Lake Legion Post 276, and a Life Member of Eureka VFW in South Dakota.

Survivors include: wife, Patricia Zelmer of Olney; sister, Adeline Zelmer of Aberdeen, South Dakota; sister-in-law, Marva Lou Zelmer of Aberdeen, South Dakota; 2 nephews and 3 nieces, several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Otto and Milbert Zelmer and sisters, Alma Weishaar and Anna Marie Smith.
