Edward Glen Willis

Edward Glen Willis, 94, of Graham passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at a local care center. Funeral services are scheduled Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in First Baptist Church with Virgil Edward Willis, grandson officiating. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mr. Willis was born May 3, 1916 in Graham, Texas to the late Virgil W. and Lottie M. (Goldston) Willis. He married Rena Ophelia Reeves on August 28, 1938 in Graham. Mr. Willis was retired from Wes-More Drilling Incorporated after fifteen years of employment. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and a Veteran of the United States Army.

Survivors: his wife of 72 years, Ophelia Willis of Graham, granddaughter, Lisa McGehee of Drummond, Oklahoma; grandson Virgil Edward Willis of Newhall, California; four great grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren also survive.
Mr. Willis was preceded in death by a son Edward "Eddie" Willis in 1987.

The family will be at Morrison Funeral Home Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. to greet friends.
